STUDLEY GREEN - WOODLAND PICK & PAINT - ONE DAY EVENT

Join us under the autumn canopy in our private ancient woodland for a gentle stroll with your expert guide Dawne. We’ll search out some rare, beautiful mushrooms to collect and sketch then relax by the fire with hot drinks and homemade biscuits.

Our afternoon will be spent drawing and painting studies of fungi under the guidance of award winning tutor and professional illustrator Jay. You’ll be shown step by step how to create watercolour illustrations of the distinctive red capped fly agaric. This workshop is suitable for beginners upwards and is a great way to learn in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

All your materials and refreshments are included but please bring some lunch along with you. Sensible footwear and season appropriate clothing is recommended.

Please note our woodland is in a secret location. We’ll meet at Studley Green Community Centre and escort you to begin our magical day!
