How To Navigate Patreon
While it can seem a little daunting at first, I am here to assure you, once you get used to it, Patreon is really simple and easy to navigate to find what you are looking for.
Firstly, let's look at the navigation section which is at the top of my Patreon page, just below the banner image.
At the top, you can select between the 'Posts' section or the 'My Membership' section. In the 'Posts' section, you will find all my content and in the 'My Membership' section is where you can see details about your patron membership or send me a message through Patreon.
Below that there are some filters in which you can select the type of posts you want to see using the 'Media type' drop-down menu. You can also choose to filter the content by which tier it is available to or the month when it was posted using the other drop-down menus.
There is a handy search bar too, just type in something you are looking for and it will bring up all the related posts to that search term.
Below the filters, you will see my category tiles and these are a great way to find the posts and content you are interested to see.
Early Access - All the content you get to see before anyone else. I will usually post these times on Facebook or Instagram after a day or two. Here you will find posts relating to priority booking too.
Clips and Short Videos - This is where you can see short clips of upcoming tutorials or other shorter video content.
Video Tutorials - Here is where I post my full-length video tutorials.
Tips and Tricks - This is where you will find all my videos relating to individual techniques, equipment, materials, and lots of other great things too.
Behind The Scenes - I post all my content for how I produce and create Patreon content, workshops, and much more right here.
Access the 'My Membership' page from the navigation section at the top.
Your Benefits - This part of the page tells you all about the benefits you are receiving through your current Patreon tier.
Access to unlocked posts - Here you can see all the posts your tier unlocks for you.
Direct messages on Patreon - Here is where you can write to me, ask me any questions you like, or leave feedback about your experience on Patreon.
Notifications - This is where you can download the Patreon app and receive instant updates on what I am up to on my Patreon. I highly recommend this if you are going to be using the priority booking for workshops and zoom classes.
At the top of my feeds the first post you will see is a pinned post that will always stay there.
This post has some great information including a link to this guide, a link to my Facebook supporters community where all my patrons can get together and share their work and interact with myself and one another. You will also see a link to the equipment list that is on this website too.
